– Member of the Journalists Syndicate and the Arab Journalists Union.
– Member of the General Syndicate of Egyptian Writers.
– Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language from Beirut University in 1997.
– Master’s degree in Literary Studies (Arabic Language Department) in 2007.
– PhD on the topic of “Autobiography in Lebanese Women’s Novels” in 2010.
– Worked in cultural journalism since 2000 and has been published in several Arab newspapers, including Al-Safir, Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Akhbar Al-Adab, Al-Bayan, and Al-Hayat.
– Worked at Al-Kifah Al-Arabi newspaper in Beirut from 2001 until late 2003.
– Currently works as a supervisor in the cultural department of the Egyptian newspaper “Sout Al-Balad.”
– Editor-in-chief of an online cultural website titled “Nuktat Dau” (www.n-dawa.com).
– Published numerous research papers and studies in peer-reviewed journals and regularly contributes to the Arab press.
– Supervised creative writing workshops, including:
* “Writing and Art” workshop at Khan Books Library in Cairo from November 2012 to April 2013.
* “Novel and Cinema” workshop at Khan Books Library in Cairo from September 2014 to March 2015.
* “Creative Writing” workshop at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair in May 2014.
